Pace Suburban Bus is proposing routing improvements to 19 bus routes and proposing new service with two routes.
These incremental improvements are part of the South Cook - Will County Initiative Phase III, which seeks to realign bus service through responding to changes in demand in an area encompassing 82 communities in Will and south and southwest Cook counties. The studied area impacts 48 bus routes and approximately 40 percent of Pace's overall ridership.
Pace will be holding five public hearings between the dates of April 13th - 18th. Any person wishing to view the proposed plan and provide comments is welcome to attend. We are asking employers, if possible, to advise employees of these public hearings. Prior to these hearings, comments can be submitted to our web site at this link: http://www.pacebus.com/sub/news_events/public_hearings_comments.asp or sent to:
